A community exclusively for venture-scale founders

Better decisions make better outcomes. We're built for that.

The primary reason Venture-backed companies fail is from avoidable decisions made without the right experience in the room. Every element of FounderNexus is structured to change that.

The success equation

Why small improvements in decision quality produce outsized outcomes.

Every founder decision can be graded 0 to 1. Success is the product of all those decisions multiplied together — even modest, consistent improvement compounds dramatically.

The Formula

Probability of Success = d1×d2×d3×···×dn

Because decisions multiply rather than add, a consistent improvement in quality produces a dramatically larger improvement in overall outcome probability.

Expanding your circle of trust always produces a better decision.

More qualified, relevant experience applied to any decision improves its outcome — without exception. The constraint isn't willingness to seek input. It's access to the right people at the moment the decision needs to be made. FounderNexus removes that constraint permanently.

Membership Fit

We look for battle scars. Then we make you earn your seat.

Every voice must add as much value as it extracts. We recruit for hard-won experience — including failure — then let the group decide if you belong.

Who belongs in the room

You've been wrong before

Failed raises, bad hires, missed markets. Your failures are often more instructive than your successes.

You've built real pattern recognition

3+ years of venture-scale decisions — enough repetitions to recognize what a situation actually is.

You give as much as you take

Membership is reciprocal. You're simultaneously a student and a resource for everyone else in the room.

You're building at venture scale

Pursuing an outcome where the right founder judgment changes the trajectory. Shared ambition makes the advice directly relevant.

Pre-approval criteria

{01}

3+ years as a venture-scale founder, or meaningful VC round already raised

{02}

Experience navigating a VC or angel raise — successful or not

{03}

Building — or seeking to build — a venture-scale company.

Evaluated holistically — we're looking for battle-tested judgment, not a checklist.

Why FounderNexus

The right founders in the room when decisions matter most.

Stage-based support

Direct 1:1 engagement with a dedicated Nexus Partner focused on the current decisions you're making and the stage context around it.

Peer-earned invitation

Membership is offered, not purchased. Application, pre-approval, attendance, peer evaluation — in that order.

Custom-curated content

Every session is curated to respond to the specific needs of our members. You get what you need, when you need it.

Always on, anywhere

All content sessions are available online, and many are available with an in-person option. No geographic penalty.

You don't age out

Pre-seed through Exit. FN is present for you at every inflection point as you grow your business.

Beyond your circle of trust

Your network reflects your past. FN expands your present with founders ready to engage on your current challenges.

Stage-matched peer groups

The stage system.

Members are organized into stage-pure rooms. Multiple founders facing the same kind of decision at the same time. Stage is how we make the room relevant; geography is just where it meets.

Founders in a peer group discussion

Stage 1

$0-2M ARR · Pre-Seed/Seed

MVP development, ICP discovery, co-founder selection, early GTM motion, searching for PMF, seed capital.

Stage 2

$2-10M ARR · Series A

Repeatable sales motion, customer profiling, outbound marketing, the early leadership team.

Stage 3

$10-50M ARR · Series B/C

Senior and executive hires, the leadership layer, board dynamics, the first hard scaling decisions.

Stage 4

$50M+ ARR · Series D+

Executive redesign, board pressure, market expansion — the decisions of a large, mature venture-scale company.

The Nexus Partner

Your advocate inside FounderNexus.

Once admitted, members are assigned a trusted point of contact focused on their stage-based decision support. Your Nexus Partner meets with you briefly each month to understand the most pressing issues you're facing. Once understood, they make sure you get timely access to the specific content, introduction or topical session that addresses exactly what you're working through.

1

Clarify the pressing issues

A focused 1:1 surfaces the challenge, constraint, or inflection point you're carrying.

2

Identify the type of support you need

Some issues require a referral, an introduction, a 1:1 discussion or a group session. Your Nexus Partner determines the type of support that will help the most.

3

Curate the resource in a timely fashion

Your Nexus Partner makes sure you get quick access to the most appropriate resource for your immediate challenges.

Membership process

Membership is offered.
It isn't sold.

The quality of FounderNexus depends entirely on the quality of its members. Every step of this process protects that — for everyone already inside.

Submit an application. We review against our criteria and respond with a pre-approval decision.

02

Attend as a guest

03

Peer evaluation

The group assesses whether your experience and perspective genuinely strengthen the community.

04

Invitation extended

If the group believes you belong, you're offered membership in the stage room that matches your current context.

Referred by a VC fund?

FounderNexus partners with select VC funds who refer portfolio founders directly. Fund-referred founders receive expedited pre-approval — ask your investor if they're a partner.

Recurring member value

The most impactful hour of your week should sharpen the next decision.

FounderNexus is not in the outcomes business. It gives experienced founders a better decision environment: stage-matched rooms, Nexus Partner support, practical founder judgment, and follow-up while the decision is still live.

How we compare

FounderNexus vs. other leadership groups.

Most founder communities are built for broad appeal. We're built for one thing: venture-scale founders who want to make better decisions.

Other leadership groups

Generic, broad, cohort-bound.

Revenue or wealth thresholds for entry
Majority not venture-backed
Professional managers, not founders
Cohort-based — you age out
Local group quality varies by geography
Monthly sessions, general agenda

FounderNexus

Curated, calibrated, compounding.

Application, peer evaluation — invitation earned
Venture-scale founders only
Seasoned founders contributing at every session
Scales with you from pre-seed through Exit
Responsive sessions shaped by stage, topic, and live decisions
Nexus Partner support connects members to the right room, peer, expert, or resource

I can say with confidence that I get far more value from FounderNexus than the cost of the membership, and I'm not even taking full advantage!

Steve Tout

Katrina Romatowski

founder, reSpace

It was awesome.

Edan Shahar

The session was great! Highlight: Encouragement of diverse viewpoints and good founder mix.

Darian Parrish

founder, PwrOn

I think the breakout sessions are a loose but useful way to get people talking about challenges and resolutions.

Mark Fiebig

founder, Payscore

I was initially hesitant to join yet another group as there is no shortage of people claiming to help entrepreneurs, but Court Lorenzini and FounderNexus are the real deal. Any serious founder will benefit immensely from joining FounderNexus.

Jasper Kuria

co-founder, ConversionMagic

Great session, I learned a lot! Looking forward to the next one.

Shama Keskar

founder, Mudita Studios

FounderNexus fills a gap for entrepreneurs by complementing traditional incubator and early investment programs with a high-quality peer founder network.

Bob Lach

I also felt a sense of real community for the first time as a founder. You're all onto something special here!

Elias DeFaria

co-founder, SDF Labs

This was a fast track to relevant experience/advice in a room where you hold nothing back.

Nicole Resch

Co-founder, Imperative

I have attended sessions nationwide and joined so-called “MasterMind” groups, but nothing comes close to the network and support I have experienced at FounderNexus.

Mission Meets Structure: B Corp Certification and Building a Company That Stands for Something

Building a company that does well and does good? The structure you choose matters more than you think. In this session, startup attorney Danny Neuman breaks down what mission-driven founders need to know:

  • B Corp vs. benefit corporation - what's actually the difference?
  • Certification - the real cost, effort, and payoff
  • Structure, fundraising & governance - how your choice affects investors, your board, and how you run your company

Danny advises startups, emerging companies, and venture funds on formation, financings, and M&A - known for practical, business-first legal advice, not legalese.

FounderNexus Roundtable: Scaling from 10M to 100M ARR

FounderNexus Roundtable: Scaling - The Second Act

You've built before. You know the playbook. And you also know the uncomfortable truth: most of it expired.

The scaling motion that carried your last company stalls out past $10M ARR. The product you started building before 2023 now competes in an AI-native market. And the capital you're raising to scale comes with one loaded question attached—scale into what, exactly?

This is an invite-only working roundtable for second-time founders at Stage 3 ($10–50M ARR), all building their next big company right now. Ninety minutes. One table. No warm-up acts.

The conversation: what actually changes in your scaling engine between $10M and $50M—what you'd never repeat from company one, how to deploy fresh capital without burning it on last cycle's playbook, and how to make a company you started before the AI wave compete like it was born in it.

No panel. No pitches. No spectators—everyone at this table has operated at this level and brings scar tissue to share. What's said in the room stays in the room.

Hosted by FounderNexus. Seats are confirmed personally.

Find your room

Start with fit. Then the right room.

FounderNexus is organized by stage and decision context. Apply with the founder decision you're carrying now. If there is a fit, we'll connect you to the next relevant room experience and continue the conversation from there.

  • You're building, or seeking to build, a venture-scale company
  • You're carrying a decision that would benefit from relevant founder judgment
  • You can contribute hard-won experience to founders at a similar stage
  • You want a room that is curated for fit, not broad access
