About this session

Most pitch deck advice is generic. This isn't.

For one hour, you'll watch a seasoned pre-seed VC open up real founders' actual pitch decks, slide by slide, and react the way he would when deciding whether to write the first institutional check. No hypotheticals, no polished "after" version. Just an honest, live teardown of decks that are out in the world right now.

The VC: Martin Tobias is the Founder and Managing Partner of Incisive Ventures, an early-stage firm that invests in the first institutional round of B2B software companies. Before becoming a VC, he was a 3x venture-funded CEO who raised over $500M and took companies through two IPOs. He has invested in hundreds of companies, was an early investor in Google, DocuSign and Deel, and previously worked at Microsoft and Accenture and as a Venture Partner at Ignition Partners.

What you'll get:

  • A live, slide-by-slide review of real early-stage decks

  • What a pre-seed check actually diligences, and why many decks lose the investor on "who is the customer?"

  • The difference between a slide that "works" and one that raises questions

  • Open Q&A: bring your own deck questions and pitch challenges

Whether you're actively fundraising, refining your story, or just want to understand how investors really read a deck, this is a rare look behind the curtain.
